The family supports work with all known types of Bosch ME9.0 control units based on Motorola MPC561 with external 2MB flash memory.
Allows software identification, reading/virtual reading (on some types of ECUs), and writing. Checksum correction is done during writing.
Ford Bosch ME9.8 (FID: 331)
The family supports work with Bosch ME9.8 control units based on Motorola MPC562 with external 2MB flash memory.
Allows software identification, reading, and writing. Checksum correction is done during writing. Requires J2534 adapter with FEPS control support.
Ford Bosch ME(D)G9.8.1 (FID: 327)
The family supports work with Bosch MEG9.8.1 and MEDG9.8.1 control units based on Motorola MPC563 with external 2MB flash memory.
Allows software identification, reading, and writing. Checksum correction is done during writing. Requires J2534 adapter with FEPS control support.
The module requires the purchase of a USB protection key Bitbox. The key can be purchased in our store. An unlimited number of modules can be purchased for one key.
Module activation is performed within 1 hour on business days (usually 10-15 minutes). Activation may be delayed on weekends and holidays (up to 2 hours).
The module activation requires ONLY the serial number of the key and email.
To work through the OBD2 connector, a J2534 adapter is required (Scanmatik 2, OpenPort 2.0, Dialink, Mongoose, etc.). More about J2534 here.
To connect the control unit on the bench, additional equipment needs to be purchased, any of the following:
