PCMflash 1.4.4 Update – Key Changes and New Features
The PCMflash software has been updated to version 1.4.4, introducing critical compatibility improvements, expanded ECU support, and important changes in activation requirements.
1. Hardware Dongles: Important Information
As of version 1.4.4, the following changes apply to hardware dongles:
- Dongles manufactured before mid-2019 now require an active Internet connection at each program startup.
- It is recommended to replace such older dongles with newer ones to ensure stable operation.
- Activating new modules requires version 1.4.4 or higher.
- Virtual machine use is now strictly prohibited for all dongles.
2. Module 49 — Toyota/Lexus/Hino Gen 2 (Extension)
Improved ECU support for Toyota Land Cruiser 300 with the 1GR-FE petrol engine — enhanced stability and reliability.
3. Module 90 — China DCM6.2AP/DCM7.1AP
Support added for Delphi DCM6.2AP ECU, installed in BAIC vehicles:
Full functionality: read, write, checksum correction, and virtual EEPROM access.
Supported ECUs:
- BAIC 2.0L TD (DCM6.2AP) – [RD/WR/CK]

4. Module 92 — Bosch MD1/MG1 Bootloader
Added support for VCUP8.2 ECU, used in Chinese-made hybrid vehicles.
5. Module 95 — Toyota/Lexus Gen 4
Now supports R7F701216 microcontroller, used in:
- Toyota Land Cruiser 300 with F33A-FTV engine
- Toyota Yaris GR (2025 model year) with G16E-GTS engine
