    Description

    Software module for working with the engine control unit Bosch EDC17 CAN of Mercedes vehicles.

    Module for reading and writing through the diagnostic connector of Mercedes-Benz diesel vehicles with Bosch EDC17 control units.

    Which vehicles and control units does the Bitbox MB Bosch EDC17 CAN module support:

    FIDs: 200, 201, 202

    • Bosch EDC17CP01 / EDC17CP10 (FID: 200)
    • Bosch EDC17CP57 / EDC17CP60 / EDC17C66 (FID: 201)
    • Bosch EDC17CP46 (FID: 202)
    • Bosch EDC17C43 (FID: 206)
    • Bosch EDC17CP01 without external flash memory (FID:207) 

     

    The module allows:

    • Software identification
    • Reading calibration area
    • Writing calibration area
    • Checksum correction during writing

     

    The module requires the purchase of a USB protection key Bitbox. The key can be purchased in our store. An unlimited number of modules can be purchased for one key.

    Module activation is performed within 1 hour on business days (usually 10-15 minutes). Activation may be delayed on weekends and holidays (up to 2 hours). 

    To activate the module, ONLY the serial number of the key and email are required.

    To work through the OBD2 connector, a J2534 adapter is required (Scanmatik 2, OpenPort 2.0, Dialink, Mongoose, and others). More about J2534 here.

    To connect the control unit on the bench, additional equipment needs to be purchased, any of the following:

    Powerbox and Combibox for PCMflash are fully compatible with Bitbox.

    If you have entered the wrong key or device number, the return is not valid. It is not possible to modify the license for another device.
