ECU Configuration Reset Script for Toyota / Lexus (GEN2) for iProg Pro
This script is designed to reset the configuration (vehicle specification) of the Engine Control Unit (ECU) in Toyota and Lexus GEN2 vehicles. It is used to eliminate system conflicts that occur after modifying or resetting configurations in other electronic control units.
The script only works with original iProg Pro programmer! Please write Serial Number and UID in the order.
Technical Specifications and Interfaces
- Engine control units equipped with EEPROM
- Toyota / Lexus GEN2 ECUs
- Operation via CAN bus (Connection through OBD2 MCP2515)
The script has been successfully tested with the following ECUs:
- 89661-33110
- 89661-0EG22
Application Scope
Typical Use Cases
The script is used when system conflicts appear after resetting or changing the configuration of other electronic modules in the vehicle.
Practical Example
After resetting the instrument cluster configuration using another OBD2/CAN script:
- Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) stops functioning
- Error messages related to cruise control appear on the instrument panel
- The ECU continues to expect adaptive cruise control parameters that are no longer present
Problem Resolution
After performing a configuration reset directly in the ECU using this script:
- The ECU correctly reinitializes the vehicle configuration
- Adaptive Cruise Control is replaced by standard cruise control
- Cruise control–related errors are eliminated
- Conflicts between the engine ECU and other vehicle systems are fully resolved
Open the program and click “Help” -> “About”.
