Access Token for Used ECM Learning on Volvo Vehicles
The ECM (Used) Learning Token for VCTS is a single-use authorization token required to perform the ECM (Used) Learning procedure on supported Volvo vehicles.
This token works together with the ECM (Used) Learning License for VCTS and grants access to one ECM adaptation and pairing operation. Each vehicle requires its own token.
This license enables technicians to learn and pair a used ECM to the vehicle without reflashing the module. The procedure is performed using the VCTS adapter in OBD-II mode, making it an efficient solution for Volvo specialists, automotive diagnostic workshops, and ECU repair professionals.
Purpose:
The token is required for:
- Used ECM learning and adaptation.
- Pairing a replacement ECM with a vehicle.
- Authorizing ECM learning operations within VCTS.
- Professional Volvo diagnostics and repair procedures.
Important
1 Token = 1 Vehicle = 1 ECM Learning Procedure
A token can only be used once. After the ECM learning process has been successfully completed on a vehicle, the token is consumed and cannot be reused on another vehicle.
If you need to perform ECM learning on multiple vehicles, a separate token is required for each vehicle.
Examples:
- 1 Volvo vehicle = 1 token
- 5 Volvo vehicles = 5 tokens
- 10 Volvo vehicles = 10 tokens
