BitBox Module: Bosch MG1/MD1 Gen2 BENCH [SM2/SM3 Only]
The BitBox Bosch MG1/MD1 Gen2 BENCH professional module (FID: 577) is designed for ECU remapping, chip tuning, and full bench reading/writing of Bosch MG1/MD1 Gen2 engine control units (manufactured from 06.2020 onwards) found in BMW vehicles.

To activate the module you need a USB dongle BitBox/BitEdit. When ordering, please indicate the Serial Number of the key.
All operations are performed directly via the ECU connector on the bench (BENCH mode). The module does not require opening/unsealing the ECU or any additional unlock procedures
Key Features & Capabilities
- Non-Invasive Bench Mode: Read and write data safely without opening or physically modifying the ECU casing.
- Auto-Detection: Automatic recognition of MCU (processor) type and memory size.
- Full Memory Access: Complete reading and writing of both Flash and EEPROM.
- Checksum Correction: Automatic Checksum (CS) calculation and correction during the write process.
Hardware & Connection Requirements
- J2534 Interface: Compatible ONLY with original Scanmatik SM2 Pro or SM3 devices.
- Bench Connection: Requires a breakout cable or adapter with automatic power management and ignition control (e.g., Scanmatik SM2 Bench cable, BITS001, Powerbox, or equivalent).

If an incorrect key or device number is entered by the customer, the purchase is not eligible for return.
Licenses cannot be modified, transferred, or reissued for another device under any circumstances.
2. Irreversible Order Processing
After the order status changes to “Waiting for activation”, the data has already been sent to the developer.
From this point onward, the order cannot be canceled, edited, corrected, or refunded.
3. Responsibility for Software Functionality
Our store is not responsible for the functionality, performance, or declared features of any software module.
We do not guarantee the listed functions because we are not the developer.
4. Accuracy of Product Information

5. Customer Responsibility for Installation

Installation, setup, configuration, and compatibility checks must be performed by the customer.
We do not provide remote installation, programming, or setup services unless explicitly stated otherwise.
6. Required Technical Knowledge
These products are intended for users with basic technical knowledge in automotive diagnostics.
The customer is fully responsible for understanding the installation process and using the software and hardware correctly.
