BitBox Update: Continental Simos 18.7 (TC1791) ECU Support for VAG

The VAG Continental Simos 12/16/18/PCR2 [SM2/SM3 ONLY] module in BitBox software has been updated with support for Continental Simos 18.7 ECUs based on the Infineon TC1791 processor.

This update is relevant for petrol vehicles of the VAG group (Volkswagen, Audi, Skoda, SEAT) and enables:

• FullFlash reading
• Calibration writing with automatic checksum correction
• Work "on the table" without opening the ECU
• Compatible with Scanmatik 2 / 2 Pro / 3 adapters
• Requires an adapter with GPT function
