BitBox Update: Toyota Denso Gen4 R7F701216 Type2 Now Supports MCU #1
The latest BitBox software update expands support for Toyota Denso Gen4 R7F701216 Type2 engine control units used in 2025+ Toyota GR Yaris models.
The Toyota Denso Gen4 BENCH-CAN module now supports the second processor (MCU #1) in addition to the previously supported MCU #0, providing complete access to both microcontrollers within the ECU.
Available features include:
- support for MCU #0 and MCU #1;
- ECU identification;
- flash memory reading and writing;
- reliable BENCH-CAN communication;
- compatibility with Toyota GR Yaris 2025+ equipped with Denso Gen4 R7F701216 Type2 ECUs.
