BitBox Adds BSL Unlock for Bosch MG1/MD1 Gen2 TC29x ECUs

The latest BitBox software update introduces support for BSL unlocking of locked Bosch MG1/MD1 Gen2 2020+ control units based on Infineon AURIX TC29x processors.

The new functionality has been added to the Bosch MG1/MD1 Gen2 BENCH [SM2/SM3 ONLY] module and is designed for Bosch MG1 and MD1 control units used in gasoline and diesel vehicles from various manufacturers.

Locked ECUs can now be unlocked in BSL mode and subsequently accessed on the bench, extending BitBox capabilities for working with protected Bosch MG1/MD1 Gen2 control units.

The update covers Bosch MG1/MD1 Gen2 ECUs based on AURIX TC29x processors and provides a workflow for unlocking protected control units before further BENCH operations.

Support is available through the Bosch MG1/MD1 Gen2 BENCH [SM2/SM3 ONLY] module and requires a compatible Scanmatik 2 (SM2) or Scanmatik 3 (SM3) interface.

This update significantly expands BitBox capabilities for servicing modern protected Bosch MG1 and MD1 ECUs across passenger cars, commercial vehicles, and industrial applications.
