BitBox Update: Bosch MD1CP061 Support for Ford and VW
A new BitBox software update has been released, expanding its functionality for working with modern diesel engine control systems. The update adds support for Bosch MD1CP061 ECUs, installed on Ford and Volkswagen (VW) diesel vehicles.
Now, users of the Ford Bosch MG1/MD1 Gen2 module can read and write ECU data from Bosch MD1CP061 units via the diagnostic connector (OBD) or in Bench mode.
This update enables precise and safe ECU calibration, tuning, and firmware recovery.
