Ford Bosch MG1/MD1 Gen2 Module for BitBox

The BitBox Ford Bosch MG1/MD1 Gen2 module is designed for professional chip tuning workshops and service centers working with Ford vehicles. It supports both BENCH (on-table) and OBD modes, including reading and writing of protected Bosch MG1/MD1 Gen2 ECUs (2020+).
To activate the module you need a USB key BitBox/BitEdit. When ordering, please indicate the Serial Number of the key.
Main Functions of the Module
- Software version identification (SW ID)
- Reading of SOFT + CAL areas
- Writing of SOFT + CAL areas
- CS verification and correction
- Reading and clearing of DTC errors via OBD
BENCH Mode (on-table)
BENCH mode provides fast and stable performance. Available only with the Scanmatik 3 adapter.

BENCH mode is essential for ECU recovery after interrupted flashing or when working with protected units.
OBD Mode (via diagnostic connector)
In OBD mode, the module works with any high-quality J2534 adapter.
⚠️ Important: this mode is very sensitive to voltage drops. To ensure safe flashing, a high-quality power supply or charger is required. If the process is interrupted, use BENCH mode with Scanmatik 3 for ECU recovery.

An activated module or license cannot be returned.
If you have entered the wrong key or device number, the return is not valid. It is not possible to modify the license for another device.
After status update to "Waiting for activation", the data has already been sent to the developer for activation. The order cannot be canceled or corrected starting from this status update.
