ProByte Edit 2.2 Full Upgrade – Upgrade Your Existing Dongle to Full
ProByte Edit 2.2 Full Upgrade is intended for customers who already own a ProByte Edit USB dongle and want to upgrade their existing license to the Full version.
This product does not include a new USB dongle. After purchase, the Full package will be activated on your existing ProByte Edit hardware key.
The upgrade provides access to almost all available ProByte Edit software modules and is suitable for professionals working with ECU firmware analysis, chip tuning, calibration editing, and automotive diagnostics.
Who Is This Upgrade For?
This product is intended for existing ProByte Edit users who:
- already have an original ProByte Edit USB dongle
- currently use one or more separately purchased ProByte Edit modules
- want to upgrade their existing license to ProByte Edit Full
- want access to almost all available ProByte Edit modules under one license
What Is Included in the ProByte Edit Full Upgrade
After upgrading your existing ProByte Edit dongle to Full, you receive:
- activation of the ProByte Edit Full package on your existing USB dongle
- access to almost all available ProByte Edit modules
- free access to eligible new ProByte Edit modules released in the future
No physical USB dongle is supplied with this product. You must already own a compatible ProByte Edit USB hardware key.
Modules and Products Not Included
The following products are not included in the ProByte Edit 2.2 Full Upgrade:
- Premium Stage+ Subscription / Premium Stage+ Lifetime Subscription
- Firmware Files Database
- Toyota Denso Gen1, Gen2, Gen3 (IMMO) module
These products can be purchased separately if required.
Free Future Module Updates
One of the main advantages of upgrading to ProByte Edit Full is access to eligible new modules released in the future.
When new ProByte Edit modules covered by the Full package are developed and released, they can be added to your existing Full license without additional module purchase costs.
This makes the Full upgrade a convenient option for customers who regularly work with different ECU types and want to expand their ProByte Edit capabilities.
ProByte Edit Software Features
ProByte Edit is a professional ECU firmware editor designed for analysis and modification of binary firmware files from automotive control units.
Main software capabilities include:
- analysis and editing of ECU firmware files
- working with Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTC)
- editing emission-related calibration parameters

- EGR — Exhaust Gas Recirculation

Important Information Before Purchase
- This is an upgrade license only.
- ProByte Edit USB dongle is not included.
- You must already own an original ProByte Edit dongle.
- The upgrade will be activated on your existing hardware key.
ProByte Edit is intended for firmware analysis and editing only. The software does not read or write firmware directly to the ECU. Separate ECU programming equipment is required for these operations.

1. No Refunds or Modifications for Digital Licenses
Activated modules or licenses cannot be returned or refunded.
If an incorrect key or device number is entered by the customer, the purchase is not eligible for return.
Licenses cannot be modified, transferred, or reissued for another device under any circumstances.
2. Irreversible Order Processing
After the order status changes to “Waiting for activation”, the data has already been sent to the developer.
From this point onward, the order cannot be canceled, edited, corrected, or refunded.
3. Responsibility for Software Functionality
Our store is not responsible for the functionality, performance, or declared features of any software module.
We do not guarantee the listed functions because we are not the developer.
4. Accuracy of Product Information
Module and script descriptions are provided directly by the manufacturer.
IOBD.io is not responsible for any inaccuracies, missing details, or differences between the description and actual operation.
In disputed situations regarding functionality or listed features, the customer must contact the manufacturer.
5. Customer Responsibility for Installation
IOBD.io sells professional automotive diagnostic software and equipment.
Installation, setup, configuration, and compatibility checks must be performed by the customer.
We do not provide remote installation, programming, or setup services unless explicitly stated otherwise.
6. Required Technical Knowledge
These products are intended for users with basic technical knowledge in automotive diagnostics.
The customer is fully responsible for understanding the installation process and using the software and hardware correctly.
7. No Liability for Incorrect Usage

incorrect installation
unsupported or incompatible hardware
improper configuration
third-party interference
