Scanmatik 2.22.4 Update – New Diagnostics, J2534 and Wi-Fi Improvements
A new Scanmatik software update version 2.22.4 has been released for Scanmatik diagnostic adapters, including SM2, SM2 Pro, SM3.
The latest update expands diagnostic support for VAZ and KAMAZ vehicles, improves J2534 PassThru compatibility, introduces support for additional OEM diagnostic software, and resolves several Windows Wi-Fi connection issues.
New VAZ Diagnostic Support
Scanmatik 2.22.4 adds diagnostic support for several electronic control units used in newer VAZ vehicles, including Vesta NG and Iskra-based models.

- Autoelectronics 554.3763 Electric Power Steering (EPS/EMUR) – Vesta NG, Iskra
- XGF_LF Instrument Cluster – Iskra and other models

KAMAZ Diagnostic Improvements

Improved Scanmatik Wi-Fi Connection on Windows
The update fixes a Windows Wi-Fi connection issue where the Scanmatik adapter was visible in the software but the connection could not be established.
The developers have also added the ability to connect to the Scanmatik adapter via Wi-Fi while a VPN with Kill Switch functionality is active.
This is especially useful for technicians who keep a secure VPN connection enabled while working with online diagnostic, programming, or OEM software.
Important Information for SM2 and SM2 Pro Users
Users of Scanmatik SM2 and SM2 Pro adapters should note an important requirement when upgrading to version 2.22.4.
During the first connection using Scanmatik 2.22.4, the software will update the adapter's digital signature.
For this initial procedure, the following device must have an active internet connection:
- Windows PC
- Smartphone
- Tablet
After the digital signature has been successfully updated, an internet connection is no longer required for subsequent connections.
