lex 7.28.0.0 Update: DAF Trucks 2017–2021 ECU Support via OBD and Bench in RFT
Magicmotorsport has released version 7.28.0.0 for the popular Flex programmer, expanding ECU support for DAF Trucks produced between 2017 and 2021. The new protocol is available via OBD and Bench, simplifying ECU diagnostics, tuning, and repair.
Key features of the new protocol:
- Full access to external Flash memory, application software, and internal Flash calibration areas
- Allows engine performance tuning or fuel consumption reduction
- Enables ECU cloning — transfer data from a damaged ECU to a working one without replacing it
- Fully compatible with OEM software updates, without losing the unlock
How the Ready for Tuning (RFT) service works:
- Request the RFT service via your account
- Ship the ECU to the Magicmotorsport lab
- Professional and certified unlocking
- Receive your ECU back — ready for Flex programming
The process is completely secure and preserves compatibility with future manufacturer updates.
Access to the RFT Service:
- Users with an active FLS0.5 Flex Master or Slave license get full access at no extra cost
- Users with an active subscription but without a Full license can:
- Purchase a one-time RFT license, or
- Upgrade to a Flex Full license
- All RFT services are paid with Green Coins
- Master users receive 300 coins/month, enough for one free unlock
- Additional coins can be purchased on the Helpdesk platform
