CAN-Coder L2 TYW License - TYW Odometer Recovery (KIA / Hyundai)

CAN-Coder L2 TYW is an additional paid module of the CAN-Coder L2 software package, designed for odometer recovery of TYW dashboards manufactured in China and based on Spansion S6jxxx processors, installed in KIA and Hyundai vehicles.

Important: Working with this software module requires a high level of professional qualification and increased responsibility from the user. The user acknowledges and accepts that during operation there is a risk of rendering the instrument cluster or other equipment being worked on inoperative. The user bears full responsibility for any equipment malfunctions and any associated financial losses..

Main Features of CAN-Coder L2 TYW

Odometer recovery for TYW instrument clusters;
Support for clusters based on Spansion microcontrollers;
Connection via CH-P FDL2 and CH-OBD-FD interfaces with an active CAN-Coder L2 license;
Capability to update the firmware (P-FLASH) of the instrument cluster microcontroller;
Support for connection via CAN bus or OBD2 port;
Compatibility with certification via the ICU module.

Compatibility and Limitations

Only instrument clusters based on Spansion microcontrollers are supported.
Clusters with RH850 microcontrollers are not supported.
Only versions listed in the CAN-Coder L2 TYW documentation and database are supported.
Use of incompatible software or hardware versions is strictly prohibited.

Technical Requirements

J-Link v9 or a compatible debugger is recommended.
For safe recovery, working with a JTAG programmer (including cluster disassembly) may be required.
The user must have high technical qualifications and experience with JTAG equipment.

1. No Refunds or Modifications for Digital Licenses
