BitBox Update: Bosch EDC17C62 Support for Chinese Diesel Vehicles
The latest BitBox software update expands support for diesel engine management systems by adding compatibility with Bosch EDC17C62 engine control units (ECU) used in various Chinese diesel vehicles.
Support has been added to the universal Bosch MEDC17 Bench [SM2/SM3 ONLY] module, providing professional BENCH-mode access for ECU programming and firmware servicing.
The new support expands BitBox capabilities for:
- Bosch EDC17C62 engine control units;
- diesel vehicles manufactured in China;
- ECU identification;
- flash memory reading and writing;
- reliable BENCH-mode communication;
- operation with SM2 and SM3 interfaces.
This update extends the coverage of the BitBox Bosch MEDC17 Bench module and provides ECU repair specialists, automotive diagnosticians, and chip tuning professionals with additional capabilities for working with Bosch EDC17C62 diesel ECUs.
