BitBox Update: Bosch EDC17C04 Support for Mahindra, JMC, Dongfeng, and FAW
The latest BitBox software update expands support for diesel engine management systems by adding compatibility with Bosch EDC17C04 engine control units (ECU) used in Mahindra, JMC, Dongfeng, and FAW vehicles.
Support has been added to the Bosch MEDC17 Bench [SM2/SM3 ONLY] universal module, enabling professional BENCH-mode access for ECU diagnostics, programming, and firmware servicing using Scanmatik 2 and Scanmatik 3 interfaces.
Available functions include:
- ECU identification;
- flash memory reading and writing;
- checksum correction during programming;
- reliable BENCH communication;
- support for Bosch EDC17C04 ECUs installed in diesel vehicles from Mahindra, JMC, Dongfeng, and FAW.
This update extends BitBox compatibility with Bosch EDC17 diesel control units and provides ECU repair specialists, diesel tuning professionals, and automotive workshops with a reliable solution for servicing these ECUs in BENCH mode.
Note: This protocol is available exclusively in the Bosch MEDC17 Bench [SM2/SM3 ONLY] module and requires a Scanmatik 2 or Scanmatik 3 interface.
