New China LinControl Petrol Module: Full ECU Access for Chinese Cars Now Available!
BitBox has expanded its range of diagnostic tools with the release of the China LinControl Petrol module, designed specifically for working with engine control units (ECUs) in petrol-powered vehicles made in China.
What Is This Module?
The China LinControl Petrol is a specialized tool for reading and writing ECU flash memory, designed for LinControl ECUs based on the SPC563M64 processor with 1.5MB internal flash. It supports:
- ECU software version identification
- Full flash reading
- Calibration data writing via CAN bus
- Checksum correction during write operations (where needed)
The module works both via the OBDII diagnostic port and on the bench, which is essential for vehicles that use gateways.
Currently Supported ECUs:
- LinControl LEC4AF / LEC4AP (FID: 475) – for various Chinese car brands
- LinControl LEC4AF JAC (FID: 499) – used in JAC vehicles
- LinControl LEC4GD JAC (FID: 500) – also used in JAC vehicles
All supported ECUs allow full flash operations via CAN with no checksum control required.
