Script for Transferring Key Data from a Lock with MC9S12DG256 to a Lock with MC9S12XDT384 Processor on VW Crafter
The script only works with the original devices and iProg software.
The script operates as follows:
- Read EEPROM from both locks using any programmer (the script works only with EEPROM dumps; direct processor interaction is not supported).
- Load the dumped EEPROM files into the DG256 and XDT384 tabs.
- Press the Transfer button.
- A file named transferred_eeprom.bin will appear in the script folder.
- Write this EEPROM file to the lock with the XDT384 processor.
Important Notes:
- The script transfers ONLY KEY DATA. Keys will always start the vehicle, but there may be issues with the radio channel (e.g., radio may not work, lights might flash when buttons are pressed but not activate locks).
- Ensure compatibility and test functionality after programming.
Open the program and click “Help” -> “About”.
Copy data from the program when placing an order
After completing the order, you will receive files, they must be added to the Scripts folder..
Launch the program and on the left side of the screen you will see the added scripts.
An activated module or license cannot be returned.
If you have entered the wrong key or device number, the return is not valid. It is not possible to modify the license for another device.
After status update to "Waiting for activation", the data has already been sent to the developer for activation. The order cannot be canceled or corrected starting from this status update.
