Scanmatik Update: Version 2.22.0 Released with Full DPDU API Support
The development team has released a major software update for Scanmatik devices. Version 2.22.0 significantly expands the hardware capabilities, adding compatibility with dealer-level diagnostic software and improving interface stability.
Key Changes and New Features:
- Full DPDU API (ISO22900-2) Support: Scanmatik now officially supports professional dealer software:
- VAG: ODIS Service / Engineering (DPDU)
- Mercedes-Benz: Xentry / DAS Open Shell / Daimler Truck, Vediamo 4/5
- JLR: Pathfinder, JLR Topix Cloud
- Porsche: PIWIS
- GM: Tech2Win
- Others: DTS Monaco, KAMAZ KSD, Suzuki SDT-II.
- Additional functions of original dealer tools have been implemented to ensure full compatibility.
- J2534 and PSA Improvements:
- Added support for PSA DiagBox (Note: requires a crossover cable; refer to the manual for details).
- Addressed all reported issues regarding J2534 / RP1210 operation since the last release.
- Hardware and Stability Updates:
- USB Driver Update: Resolved rare cases of SM3 devices freezing on specific laptop models.
- Wi-Fi Module: Firmware updated for SM3 Wi-Fi modules.
- Numerous other minor bug fixes and performance optimizations.
IMPORTANT: Update Instructions
The new software version will not work with outdated USB drivers or older Wi-Fi module firmware. To ensure proper operation:
- USB Driver: The driver updates automatically during software installation. However, if an error occurs, you must update it manually via the Windows Device Manager.
- Wi-Fi Module (for SM3): You must update the Wi-Fi module to version V04 before using the device.
