BRP Explorer — J2534 Diagnostic & Service Software for BRP Vehicles

BRP Explorer is a specialized diagnostic software designed for servicing and configuring Electronic Control Units (ECUs) across BRP vehicles (Sea-Doo, Can-Am, Ski-Doo). Compatible with any standard J2534 passthru interface, it supports Bosch ME17.8.5 and Siemens M3C ECUs both directly on the vehicle and in bench mode.

Key Features & Capabilities:

• ECU Diagnostics: Read identification data, scan, and clear Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs).
• Live Monitoring: Real-time engine parameter tracking (Live Data).
• Operating History: View complete vehicle operation logs and RPM range history.
• DESS Key Management: Read, modify, add, delete, and change status of DESS keys, or completely enable/disable the DESS system.
• ECU Service Functions: Change VIN, customer name, model number, engine serial number, and clear operational history.
• EEPROM Processing: Edit EEPROM files with automatic checksum recalculation.

Licensing Terms:

• License Type: 1 PC / 1 Activation.
• Hardware Lock: The license is locked to a single computer's Hardware ID. Transfer, re-activation, or migration to another PC is not supported (including hardware failure or component upgrades).

System Requirements:

• OS: Windows 10 / Windows 11.
• Delivery Type: Standalone executable file (.EXE), no installation required (Portable).
• Hardware Required: J2534-compatible PassThru adapter with manufacturer drivers installed.

Important Notes:

• Compatible strictly with Windows 10 and Windows 11.
• EEPROM operations require a pre-read binary file obtained via an external programmer.
• Direct EEPROM reading and writing over J2534 is not supported in the current version.
