What is IMMO OFF?
The immobilizer (IMMO) is an anti-theft system that prevents the engine from starting without the original key. However, if the key transponder, ECU, or antenna fails, the immobilizer may block normal vehicle operation: the engine won’t start, and error codes or lockouts may occur.
IMMO OFF is a software solution that disables the immobilizer function in the ECU by editing the firmware.
