License FD103. Paid add-on to ST002 (STool)

License FD103 (Hyundai/KIA) STool for reading/writing mileage and EEprom, reading Flash in KIA and Hyundai car instrument panels via CAN-FD adapter.

License FD103 is an extension of license ST002, for owners of Can-FD adapter. New VDO panels with mileage writing unlock.*Supported cars and instrument panels:

* The panel needs to be removed from the car and connected to the table, the connection diagram can be viewed by clicking the "Connection" button, the panel is blocked by the Central Gateway on the car or you can use license FD101 (Gateway Certification) to bypass the lock.
** The panel can only be made on the car using the certification procedure, before working with the panel, select Gateway Certification -> Start.

Procedure for working with license FD103:

Select the port to which the CAN FD adapter is connected and click "Test", if the adapter is working correctly, the serial number of the adapter and activation status will be displayed in the "Information" window.

The program supports two ways of working with the panel:

1. With preliminary reading of Flash, to search for unlock codes in it.

2. With unlocking the panel using already known codes.

The second method is faster, so we start with it:

• Mileage -> Read (Read mileage and EEPROM)
• Mileage -> New mileage -> enter the new mileage
• Mileage -> Write (write the new mileage to the panel)
• If the mileage has changed, it's done.

If the mileage has not changed, proceed to the method with Flash reading:

• FLASH -> Read (Read Flash)
• Mileage -> Read (Read mileage and EEPROM)
• Mileage -> New mileage -> enter the new mileage
• Mileage -> Write (write the new mileage to the panel)
• Done
• Send the read Flash to stoolvdo@yandex.ru to add a new variant to the program

When reading Flash and EEPROM (or mileage), the dumps are automatically saved in the Backup folder.

Please note that in both the first and second methods, the panel does not need to be flashed, so there is no risk of bricking the panel.

To work with the module, it is necessary to purchase USB protection key. One key can activate an unlimited number of licenses. To activate new licenses, you need to provide the serial number of your key.
