
China Trucks Continental Module for FAW and Dongfeng Trucks
The China Trucks Continental module is designed to work with Continental control units installed on Chinese trucks and special vehicles, including FAW, Dongfeng, and other manufacturers. It supports reading and writing firmware via the CAN bus with automatic checksum correction.
To activate the module you need a USB key BitBox/BitEdit. When ordering, please indicate the Serial Number of the key.
Main Functions of the Module
- Identification of the software version in the ECU;
- Reading software;
- Writing software;
- Checksum correction during writing;
- Supported FIDs: 511, 512
Supported Continental Control Units
- Continental SIDFA08 FAW (FID: 511)
- Continental CADEC3 SIDFA08 ECUs are based on Aurix TC297TP with internal flash memory 8Mb. FID allows software identification, reading and writing of calibration areas by CANbus, CS calculation on writing
- Continental SIDFA10 FAW (FID: 512)
- Continental CADEC3 SIDFA10 ECUs are based on Aurix TC297TP with internal flash memory 8Mb. FID allows software identification, reading and writing of calibration areas by CANbus, CS calculation on writing.
Support for the China Trucks Continental module will be expanded in the future — additional control units will be added when available.
An activated module or license cannot be returned.
If you have entered the wrong key or device number, the return is not valid. It is not possible to modify the license for another device.
After status update to "Waiting for activation", the data has already been sent to the developer for activation. The order cannot be canceled or corrected starting from this status update.
